Question about Sony STR-DA3000ES Receiver
I have a str-da3000es receiver but flashing code 11 but the receiver turn of after 5 seconds
Disconnect the power cord.
If you're using banana plugs, check that the cables are tight on BOTH ends. If you're using the binding posts then make sure that not a single strand of copper has gone astray. Any peice of it that can come into contact with the receiver in any place other than the speaker output terminals will cause this problem.
If you fix all of the above and still have the problem then it is possible that one of the binding posts has a reason for not making good contact. Disconnect all of the speaker wires and reconnect them to the other terminals, ie; instead of using terminals A, use B.

Irregular current is output from the speakers...turn off the receiver, check the speaker connections and turn on the power again.
