I have my Samsung LN-40A530 LCDTV hooked up to one peripheral, a Samsung upscaling DVD player. I just bought both a couple days ago at Best Buy. The TV periodically goes blank or blue and I get the message "Searching for Signals" before it returns to the picture. I have unplugged the TV and replugged it several times, but I still have the same problem. Thanks for your help.

- By hooking up another device to the TV, I found out the problem was with the DVD player, not the television. It was a Samsung upscaling DVD player. So I returned it for a Sony and no longer have the problem. If you have a Samsung DVD player, that could be the problem, as some models are documented to have HDMI output problems.

Was watching a DVD on a Insignia IS-LCDTV32 and the sound was too low, went to turn up volume using remote and actual TV controls and TV stopped responding. Cannot get tv off of Video 1 mode. Cannot access MENU or SOURCE or anything. Unplugged and took off ALL cable boxes, DVDs, etc. TV is stuck on Video 1 mode only.
