In case you are still looking for an answer. The same happened to me.
I found a 3-amp fuse which I changed, and now it's ok.
I removed the chimney casing and located the electrical connection into the wall. You'll find a fuse unit within the switch which swings out.

Hope this helps.

There should be a fuse, and a reset button somewhere on the back or top of the unit. Its probably gonna be a pain in the *** to get to.

The lights and the fan in our Tecnik electric range cooker hood have stopped working. I am not certain of the product number. It was bought 5 years ago and is stainless steeI. I suspect a blown fuse but...

Hello Jack728,

I never have found a fuse IN a cooker hood as long as I repair them.
My first impression would be a faulty connection to the grid, as both functions of the hood do not work.

I hope this helps, Kind regards, Dik

Bulb blew on cooker hood and I replaced both. Light still won't work and neither will fan - both working fine until bulb blew.

hello. I can assist you. begin by going to the electrical panel for your home. You will be looking for the circuit breaker or fuse that controls this hood. Chances are the actual problem is that the fuse blew, or the circuit breaker kicked off. To reset, replace the fuse with a new one of the same amperage, or turn the breaker on and then off and then back on again.

Cooker Hood problem

check the printed circuit board behind the switches - maybe when bulb blew it took out some of the track. usually repairable by soldering in a link over the damaged track. have you checked the fuse as well?

I had the same experiences with my lights. I placed a 50v bulb and it blew the fuses. The fusees located on the right side of the bottom duct cover. use 5a 125 v fuse GE part # wb27x10542 but you can find a cheaper fuse at Radio Shack. Good luck
