Question about Kenmore 60172 Electric Commercial Dryer
Hello, I've got two questions. 1. I just recently replaced the timer motor but the dryer still won't stop buzzing when it gets to the end of the timed cycle and other cycles. It will only stop buzzing by itself on the automatic high heat cycle. 2. Is there any way to disable the buzzer, lower it's volumn or turn it off? Any solutions that you have will be much appreciated. Thanks! CAB

Sounds like the push to start switch has gone bad. Not to expensive to fix, and pretty easy to do as well. You can remove the rear of the console, remove the push to start switch (lift the tab, then turn to unlock) and replace. Be sure to mark your wires so they go back in the right order. Jim
