I have the same problem. I hit the reset pin button and it does its thing, I can set go to the Bluetooth source but it displays a Please Wait... message. After it tells you to reset the unit again. When you reset again and go to the Bluetooth source it loops back to the Please Wait... and asks to reset again. This is an endless loop at this point. I've even unplugged the unit to do a hard reset and still does it.

    Help please.

Hi, having the same problem, I tried all the possible solutions I found on internet, and finally what I did and it worked was to disassemble the face plate, then you will see at your right a small silver piece with name of parrot, it has a screw so I took it out very carefully using a small screwdriver, then I clean it up with a spray to clean circuits. After that I left it for about 20 minutes to wet and I rebuild it again.

I just found the solution!

I tried all the possible solutions I found here and nothing, so what I did was to disassemble the faceplate, then you will see at your right a small silver piece with the name of parrot.
I took it out very carefully and clean it up with a spray for circuit cleaner.
Then I left it wet for about 15 minutes and rebuild it again. Then I reset the unit because at first did not recognized the bluetooth option and recognized again!.

I Have had the same problem I have tried holding in the rest button for 20secs and then when it comes up I delete the pair and then hold in the rest button again for 20secs. I add my phone again and so far all's fine I get in to my car turn on the head unit and the phone connects.

The bluetooth problem has resolved itself after I was away for a week and my car battery died. After I boosted my car and drove around to charge the battery the bluetooth icon works again without a reset message coming up. Because the unit was without power for an extended period it must have reset the memory although it did keep my original bluetooth device that was paired before the problem.

Someone on here also mentioned pressing the reset button for 10 secs which might perform the same thing.

Hope this helps anyone else having the same problem I've been having for months now.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Do you know anything

In the JVC KD-AVX33 manual, page 31 they wrote: "You cannot connect a computer to the USB terminal of the unit." So, how you would connect the computer to the unit ?!?

No sound when making a phone call

Try to delete paired phone and to make the connection again.
Once my phone was connected (showed on the screen), but no sound !?! :( and I couldn't access the phone (address book, call list...)
I deleted it from the unit ("SRC">"Bluetooth Phone">"AV Menu">"ENT">"Delete Pair">"Yes") and make the connection again and everything was OK.

"Reset 08" means the unit is not connected properly. Check the connection/connector.

Bluetooth Icon not working

I had the same problem with my nokia n80.

The solution i found is:

with the remote go to bluetooth phone. then on the remoete av menu. now you can select bluetooth as it's not grey anymore. i would advise search device with a new pin and not the standard 0000.

Good luck.

Let me know if it worked. It did for me. (eu model)
