if your computer has an intel SM bus controller inside You need to acquire and run the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility can be Downloaded on the internet visit Brothersoft or Softpedia its normally free of charge. SM Bus Controller is the same with the Chipset Controller. I greatly suggest to uninstall and install an updated SM Bus or Chipset controller for your motherboard.

You can find all the drivers Except the sm bus controller on Sony's web site. If you have a ATI Graphics board, go to there site to get the SM bus controller drive.

to install SM BUS controller driver you need to install chipset driver of your motherboard. It is also used to install Audio devices. Go to the compaq website and look for your make model and install the requied driver

do u have the drivers installed....go to acer site to download drivers.

SM bus controller will be under the chipset option. the ethernet controller will be under the NIC option. if you are using a third party NIC, you'll have to download from them. to ensure proper drivers, enter your service tag at dell.com.

plz put the mother board cd in the cd rom and install the drivers, or you can download it from the manufacture website.

goto to system devices look for the question mark, right click, and try reinstall the drivers again, this should normally work and reboot your machine and the drivers should be there.

may be the bus driver you are trying to install may not be compatable for your machine, check with the user manual to see what bus derivers you can install
