First this i would check is the  circuit breaker in the house, stoves work off of a 220v dual breaker. one breaker may have tripped. the oven may still work but the burners will not.

Right side burner will not ignite. Pilot flame is on.

Hello Paul;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

You did not provide a model number or your range. This is located on a metal tag either on the face of the oven after you open the door, or on the side of the door.

Each burner probably has a individual flow control valve to adjust the flame. This is a low probably, but still could be the problem.

Let's assume you can light the bad burner with a match:

You either have individual spark ignitors at each burner, or a multi-spark module in the upper left top back of your range. This controls all 4 burners.

Go into the following website, put in your model number and find your individual burner ignitor or the spark module. Record the part number and going into the web and search the part. Do not purchase from Sears unless you want to pay 2 or 3 times the price. Also, consider used parts.

This is a easy fix if you have basic tools. Turn the gas supply off. Then turn on the burners to bleed the system from gas. Then kill the power to the range - circuit breaker or electrical cord before you begin the work.

I cooked something for 40min as it said and at the end it was raw, I had to pur it on further 40 min this is a conventional oven

It could be your oven isn't as hot as you set it. Get a thermometer and check it. It could be the "something" you cooked was larger than the recipe was expecting... It's cooking, you have to adjust. It could even be your altitude above sea level. Higher, water boils at a lower temp, things take longer to cook.

Bottom burner won't heat up

shut the breaker off to the unit. if the bottom burner is exposed remove the screws at the back of the burner and ease the burner out. there will be a wire connected to each side of the burner. remove both of the wires and test the connections of the buner for resistance with an ohm meter if open you need a new burner if not it could be a control. this is assuming your range is electric not gas

The broiler keeps turning on automatically in the lower oven, along with a loud beep. It has done this periodically when boiling water on the back burner. Now it is doing it constantly.

Hello,

There are 2 possibilities

1) the touch pad is bad so even the slightest thing makes it thinks its being touched to turn on

2) a relay on the control board is sticking and even a small amount of vibration such as turning on the surface burner is causing it to come on

So replacing the touchpad and or control should fix it. Im leaning toward the touchpad

When i turn on oven all i smell is gas i cleaned with a wire brush still nothing. also is the pilot light always have to be on and can you see it when oven is off

Most gas ovens that aren't electronic ignition usually have a pilot light.
Usually one in the oven area and one for each burner. (Sometimes shared between two burners.)
These pilot lights must lit at all times...otherwise it won't light up and you'll smell gas.
Usually the pilot light is in the very back of the oven and can be seen with the broiler drawer opened.

There is a small set screw located at the pilot light assembly in the oven and also at every burner.
This allows you to adjust pilot light up or down, thereby letting you set pilot light flame to a level that doesn't get blown out by a draft...or you can turn it off completely.

If you use that set screw to turn off the pilot light gas, you'd need to strike a match to light the oven or burners everytime you needed them.

Will nor boil water in less than 30 minutes. Burner keeps going off and back on

This is usually the burner or the receptacle. Here is a video that will walk you thru testing and replacing a burner and receptacle. They are both inexpensive and easy to replace. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same.

Or it could be the infinite switch has failed. They are easy to check and inexpensive. Here is a video that will walk you thru testing an infinite switch. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations for your specific model. Not all models are available. All parts come with installation instructions.

Hotpoint Glasstop Stove - Burner turns on by itself

I have a GE stove which I purchased in 2004, and it is doing the same. I heard beeping coming from the kitchen in the middle of the night . I went to the kitchen and the oven was on by itself. I have been unplugging it when not using it. Maybe this could be a recall.

Flames under all burners are very small

It is possible to rejet the burners but I cant recommend doing this as there can be safety issues. First thing I would do is relace the gas regulator and then go from there. It sounds like low pressure to me. In this country it would be set to around 12-15 psi.

Gas Burner spark on other location

When you turn a burner to the light position, all burners should spark. If one is not, clean burner head area where the burner is not sparking. (dirty from boil overs)
