Question about Parrot MINIKIT Bluetooth Hands-Free Kit Wireless Headset

1 Answer

Memory Full I bought a used car recently and it came with one of the old style parrot handsfree integrated bluetooth systems, the one with just the pick up/hang up buttons that are integrated into the car's sound system. I had this parrot paired with my old phone, and now need to pair it with a new phone, but it keeps telling me the memory is full! How do I reset the memory so I can pair new devices?

How do I obtain adongle for myParrott CK3100 and where does it connect on the Parrott?

The Parrot is wireless..... you shouldn't need a dongle to update it. A Dongle is used to allow a device that doesn't already have Bluetooth to transmit information via Bluetooth. You should be able to send the update to the headset from the device it's pair with by enabling Bluetooth on the device. If your Parrot uses a usb charger, you can plug it in to any device/computer that has a usb jack to obtain your updated as well. Please click the green tag below if this helped you resolve the issue. Reply/comment for further assistance.
Thanks & Good luck!!!

Motorola handsfree kit

these kits are not very good and they are old, you are also unable to update software to work with new phones and the mic quality is poor.
go to your paired devices on your phones and change the hf850 to not connect automatically on both the phones, this may work.
If you can get a full refund and only pay the difference for a parrot it will be worth it. Also look at the THB Bury kit.

Memory full

I've just solved that very annoying 'memory full' problem. Just turn on the parrot device and press down the red and green button at the same time. The instructions were in the user guide but they were t the end and seemed to be for the Sony Ericsson only. I have a Blackberry curve. Anyway its all working now after a month trying to figure it out

Remove phone from bluetooth handsfree car unit's memory

Sorry but what do you mean by?:- 'The car unit will not allow me to use the colour previously used' It should be the phone with the memory and the search facility for finding your car headset device, not the device looking for the phone. Once you have searched for new devices and found the headset with a different phone, the headset will not be able to connect with more than one device and should lose the old phone connection.
