Question about Digital Cameras

1 Answer

I have an older (not digital) Canon EOS Rebel 2000 camera. I haven't used it for a couple of years and now when I went to use it I loaded the film. No problem. But after a couple of pictures it rewound all by itself. I did not press the rewind button. I want to use the entire roll of film, not just a couple of exposures. Does anybody know what went wrong? How can I fix this? Thank you. pineshadowlane@yahoo.com

I was wondering if lenses from a Canon 35mm camera will work with this camera?

When choosing a lens for your Digital Rebel XT, look for EF or EF-S on the lens. Film lenses with the EF designation will work on your digital camera, but AF or older lenses will not fit. Trying to force them on may damage your camera.
When using a film lens on a digital camera, there will be a 1.6x conversion factor. This means that a 50mm lens will be closer to a 70mm lens in reality.

Camera issues

Check your mirror lock up switch. This function is used for long exposures locking the mirror in the up position to reduce vibration before the shutter is released, but you will not be able to use the view finder.
