Question about Toshiba Satellite A60 Notebook
How do i get my toshiba a60 to boot from a cd so i can re install windows xp
Use the CD that comes with the laptop, so you can reinstall WinXP.
I did it myself a couple of days ago. No big deal, just go with the flow.

You will need to enter the boot menu at start up and select boot from CD, or set the CD drive to boot before the hard drive in the bios or utilities. When you first start the machine there will bw a Toshiba screen, on this screen it will tell you what to press for boot menu or utilities. Some machines zip right through this screen so you'll have to be quick. After you get it to boot from CD, make sure the disc is in upon start up and you're good.
