Go to Preferences on your Yahoo Messenger, see it there that your webcam is currently default to use on the system, and if not, just to select your Creative Labs Live Cam. Or maybe you didn't install yet your nice cam. You have to setup that before you use all your chat messenger program. Good luck!

Philips Webcam SPC110NC doesnt work with Yahoo Messenger as advertised. Packaging says it works with MSN/Yahoo/AIM, but when troubleshooting Yahoo IM using AMCAP.EXE (as per the Yahoo webcam help site), it shows color space/compression used by this product is MJPG and this is the only option. Yahoo IM only supports RGB 24, I420, or IYUV.
