Monitor flickers and goes blank after 5 seconds and keep repeating this very often.

Hello,

If you turn the monitor off then about 1020 sec turn it back on and have a picture for five sec again it sound like the power supply in the monitor. but if that did not solve the problem, the picture board on your monitor is bad, since it goes off after few seconds and the power led or button is on, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault and will need to be replace.

I advice you replace the picture board on the screen of your monitor to solve the problem of the blank screen.

Take care.

Bought it in 2008, now it comes on for 90 seconds then goes out. Probably a bad inverter or power supply board. Are parts available for this monitor?

Hello,

Is it the screen that goes blank or the power of the monitor? is the power led button on?

If the power led button is on, and it is the screen that goes off, this indicates that the picture board of your monitor is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced.

But if it is that everything goes off, it means the inverter is bad and will need to be replaced.

For the parts, yes, Being HP is even advantage, because virtually, most service centers do have the parts

Just walk to any hp service or any service center within your vicinity to get them.

Take care

Remote does not respond

Have you tried re-sync-ing the remote?

    Try these steps!

  1. Turn the Wii console power OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a few seconds. After a few seconds have elapsed, plug the cord back into the wall outlet.

  2. Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii, allowing you to get a clean start to begin the process described below.

  3. After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:

    1. With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the batteries.

    2. Press and release the small red button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the Wii Remote will blink.

    3. Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console (picture).

    4. When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).
    5. This sync procedure (steps "a" through "d" above) must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to the system.

Screen goes blank after clicking a picture

This is the normal cycle time and it can increase if the batteries are a bit weak. This is one of the minor issues with this camera. You should only notice this when using a flash since it has to re-charge the flash circuit, without flash the picture should retuen in a second or less.
