Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
I've Emailed Fixya about this, but not 100% convinced it's at their end.
I've never experienced problems like it. I'm running the chat utility in the bottom toolbar - and that says I'm signed in.
I can go directly to a question from Email link by clicking "here" on it.
I can do the usual hopping about - then suddenly - nada!
I can't get into the lounge - keeps sending me back to the sign in page, & says I'm logged out. I can click my products tab - and I get back in again???
Sometimes I can't see any of the premium questions - even if they're still active, or I answer a standard question - and hit post(or enter) - and I'm shown my Edit profile page - I hit enter on that, and the answer gets posted ?????
The problems start when I keep getting shown that I'm unavailable....then it all goes weird - sometimes saying server is busy.
This also sometimes screws up if my partner just logs me out to check her Emails - I can't log in again.
Seems to happen mid morning - but clears by 4pm - and again around 6 ish for a short while. - there is a definate pattern to the times.
Tried running anti V scans, Adaware, AVG,Spybot - never find anything serious.
Just wondered if it could be a cookie issue?
Your imput greatly apreciated.
Well check your browser settings, I haven't had any problems in a while. delete all the files from your browser
also check that your security settings are at defaults and cookies same with that, well basicly get everything back to defaults.
I kept geting this wierd message that you have been logged out that someone else has logged in with my account I don't remember the message exactly but it was something to that direction.
Changed my passwords a few times and been fine.
well ive noticed that the chat availablity on the fixya page doesn't matter I can have it on unavailable but il still get chat requests since I have the desktop tool runing.
I noticed that my outlook adds :80 into the address when trying to open a link from fixya email - I had to remove that to get the links to work again.
well I don't know everything working fine here, may be something at your end.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
