My laptop keeps overheating. I have tried disabling a lot startup programs and deleting files. Can you please help me with this?

You didn't mention what make and model laptop you have but here is a general solution. Laptop overheating issues almost always involve fan blockage, or a bad (non-functional) fan. Some are easier to access than others. Look at your laptop and see if you have access from the bottom. You could possibly even access by removing the keyboard. IF you can access the fan you should clean out any lint or dust that is causing blockage of airflow (some dis-assembly may be required). KEEP IN MIND that if you remove the fan heatsink assembly you will need to re-apply thermal paste or compound to the area between the CPU and heatsink.
My guess is you will find that you have a strip of lint blocking the airflow between the exhaust of the fan and the heatsink fins.

Er FF. Have replacement fan. How to access

Unplug the refrigerator from power. Remove the rear cover in the freezer. You may have to remove shelf brackets or the ice maker. Pull the rear cover forward and out of the way and disconnect the wire harness to the fan. Should be 2 screws holding the fan bracket in place. Remove these screws and pull the fan assembly out. You now have access to fan.

Freezer works great fridge only cold intermittently

Check for proper operation of the fan located in the freezer compartment. The fan is located behind an access plate. You should be able to hear the fan if it's running. You can access it by removing the plate. The fan should be turning. If it's not turning, you will need to replace the fan motor.

Oven fan zannusi zbf360x

Remove rear panel in back of oven, there you will see the fan, remove fan blade, usually left hand thread, and remove screws that hold fan, if they are not accessable from inside the oven then you will have to remove oven from housing, and remove rear outer panel to access fan screws and connections.
Remove fan and replace in reverse order.,don't forget the nut that holds the fan is a left hand thread.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

Fan error of IBM T30 Laptop

Hello Crazyswanz

In order to access the fan, 5 other areas of the laptop must be removed first. These are detailed in the "ThinkPad Computer Hardware Maintenance Manual" found in PDF format from the following link from IBMs website : ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/92p1840.pdf

(If that link is broken, the manual can be found by first visiting this webpage on their site : http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-42308)

The instructions on how to access the fan are listed on page 81, however you best check whether this is covered, and would validate your warranty before accessing the inside of your laptop.

Hope this helps!
David

AC blower fan

What has most likely happened is the blower fan stem is loose on the fan motor shaft. The hard part is getting access to the motor and fan. Usually it is under the dash on the passenger side. It is an easy fix once have access.
