The DCX700 is an expansion handset for several different Uniden phones (DCT746, DCT748). To change the volume of the ringer, press the Vol + or Vol - button with the unit in Standby (not making calls). There are three ringer volumes: Off, Low and High. Pressing the Volume buttons will let you cycle through the list. The volume buttons are to the left of Talk below the LCD screen.

You can temporarily mute the ringer by pressing Mute while the phone is ringing.

You can increase the ringer volume from the menu ... by the way Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless phone basically have very low ring volume ,,, try using an extra ringer which is very cheap or you can make your self ... A simple circuit diagram available on http://www.electronics2day.com/index_files/Page790.htm

My phone is a Uniden TCX905 model.
Ringer Volume
Choose from three ringer volume settings (off,
low, and high). With the phone in standby(normal display), use button on center of handset. Press up arrow or down arrow to adjust the ringer volume.
