Question about Westinghouse LTV-27w7 7 in. LCD HDTV
Have sound, dvd plays, no picture turns from turq. to dark...Help
The unit turning blue is usually an indication that the video signal has been lost. After that, the turning to black can be a screen saving mode to prevent any burnin on the LCP panel. When this occurs, try changing channels to see if the black wakes up to blue again. This sounds like an internal processing or connection issue. I haven't worked on Westinghouse sets myself, but in general LCDs sometimes can get a bit finicky. Is this unit still under warranty? If not, try opening up the back and reseating all of the cables and connectors. Any type of connection problem especially in the data cables can cause odd behavior like this.

If HDMI or DVI connections are available on your TV, you can use them instead of component video to avoid this process
