Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
I have a linksys wireless network, with 2 desktops and a laptop using it. i would like to make sure nobody else can use it.
There are several ways to restrict access, You can put WEB or WPA key, Or alternately you can use MAC address filtering. You can go to router menu by typing the IP address on your browser, Its usually 192.168.1.1 go to wireless menu and choose MAC address filtering. You can choose to allow only, add the MAC address of your computers.

Check the manual ...
- give all u;re comps. a static IP address (and limit the possible IP's to u;re 3 computers, just 3 IP;s)
- also set u;re router to accept only those MAC's, so no other computer can make proper contact with the router, and so with u;re network ...
but again, check the manual, u should find all u have to do to secure u're network there ...
