Question about Bissell Carpet Cleaner Powerbrush Deep Cleaner Vacuum
There is no water shooting out. The brushes are going, but when i hit the trigger that releases the water, nothing happens.I've only used this 4 or five times and i tried cleaning it out, but still nothing.
The screw that is located in the center of the handle, that holds the assecory hose holder must be tight. My screw was missing, put one in and cured the problem. Sounds stupid but it worked. Got this idea off the Bissell web site. Also if you have a pump belt it may need replacing. The cover is on the side of the machine. Go to the Bissell web site and look up by your model # and name of machine. There are several quick fixes that you can do yourself. Why pay for expensive repairs when the Bissell site will help you for free. Good luck.

Check the bottom of the Water Tank and the Formula Tank to make sure each has a black or red rubber gasket attached. The rubber gasket sometimes sticks to the base of the unit and detaches from the tanks. When this happens, the tanks don't seat properly.

I have a model #7920-P Bissell proheat pro-tech rug shampoer and floor cleaner wirth heat flow indicator, perfect pass indicator smart temp ready light upright model. The vacuum, heat, power brush perfect pass indicator all work. the flow indicator and sprayer do not function. I have cleaned all of the filters on the unit plus just about every inch of tubing on the unit.
The trigger mechanism does not seem to be applying the liquid cleaner to the front sprayers. Ther fore , the unit does not pick up any cleaner solution.

If water comes out the hose but not the base then the heater is most likely blocked, the heater is located at the upper part of the machine and u can gain access to this by removing the caddy and taking out the 2 screws at the back of the machine where the caddy was
