Hi. A while ago i purchased an Aiptek Pocket Camcorder model DZO-V58. I cant seem to find the wall charger but i do have the usb that came with it. However, i cant seem to use it to charge it on the computer? Can i even use the usb to charge it? When i plug it in the light turns green meaning full battery but it wont turn on when i unplug it from the computer. I recently downloaded the driver for it since i had lost the CD also and it says it is not compatible with my version of windows which is eithe windows vista or windows XP. so is it not compatible with those versions and if not, then how do i fix that????? do you have a driver cd for the camcorder and a USB cable to connect it to your pc?

First step is to install drivers for your device if there was no cd with it. Try connecting it to your pc. What happens? does windows detect it and install it sucess fully or does it complain?

If the camcorder is connected and seems to be working, no error popups etc come up.
Open my computer and see if you see a removeable storage device. If your uncertain unplug the camera from your pc to see witch drive disapears, if noting happens press f5. Then plug it back in and take notice on witch device comes up.

The one that appeared is your cameras memory, double click on it to open the drive. You might need to browse trought a few folders but your videofiles are there.

Did you try a web search and see what comes up for this model ?

TAKE OUT THE MEMORY CARD AND PUT IT INTO THE PC

it may just be stuck! try prying it gently with fingers as you turn your camera on

I have a Aiptexk pocket DZO-V58, it will power on then 5 sec later it power off. Can anyone help!!

Plug unit into computer (USB), open LCD screen of unit, depress "video" button, when prompted on camera LCD, select "live."
