Well it sounds like the LED's inside are going out....if you have experience, you can buy some new LED's from alot of places, radioshack is where i buy mine. then just install new LED's...or you could get a new clock thing.

Led readout faded and too faint to see


I just tryed to get a part today for a Wave Radio. Docter Bose told me they don't sell parts in the field for there Units. They said I can send the Radio and $99.00 and the will make it like new again. Woopie

Face of clock looks faded. an 'E' before the time, radio wont


The E means you have tried to put an MP3 CD into it and it didn't work.  There is a button atop the clock radio that allows you to fade the backlight.

Light on the projection is fading


if the led is fading it waring out and it will need replacing try and **** smith electronics or Radio shack take the clock in with you so they can provide better service for you
