Generic problem for all Portable Televisions

Hi

My Mum has bought this tv & we cant get a good picture on the digital channels, only a few frozen squares of picture, sorry its hard to explain! We have connected the arial in the back & can get analogue channels although not the best ofpicture quality. Any ideas? Thanks
