98 Dodge Caravan

Hi - Trying to replace the brakes on a 1996 Dodge Caravan. Need to know what size wrench to use to do so. Looks like a star wrench, but not sure of the size. Auto parts store here was clueless. Manual lost years ago.

The most common size is a T-50 Torx socket.

My Dad Has 2008 E350 4matic trying to replace front brakes. Don't have a long Allen wrench to remove caliper. Anyone know what size so I can buy and remove? Thanks Curtis

Probably is a T-50 bit that fits on your rachet...you can buy a set of star key bits...these are not allen wrenches...Hope this helps.

BRAKES

You'll need brake line wrenches, this will help you to prevent stripping the heads on the break line screws. Also it depends on whether you are making your own break lines or you are already buying the pieces premade (which I advise doing if you have never flared lines before). Before actually going to get the parts I would take all lines off that need to be replaced, this way you will know exactly how much you will need. This will also help you know the size line and what type of of threading you will need on the ends. I would follow all the lines before taking the tank out, you can sometimes by pass this. Please post more info after you have gotten that far and I'll be sure to follow up. Brake lines and brakes are kind of my speciality.
