Yes...and cheap. Go on line to find the parts you need..I am sure you will need new drum rollers for your machine.
Follow the directions below if possible:

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication.

If you have a front loading machine,

Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer. Remove the lint filter and the two screws holding the lint filter housing in place.
Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch.
Then remove the top of the dryer. Some lids clip on, some slide on.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt.
Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm
pulley and motor.
Now is a good time to check the belt condition for wear.
Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go
to reinstall the belt.
Check your drum rollers for flat spots or wear, if they have flat spots
or wear on them replace them.
If the drum rollers are making a "thumping" sound then you have flat spots on them
If the drum rollers don't have flat spots or wear on them then they probably
are making a squeeling noise and is only in need of lubrication.
Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil.
Reassemble the dryer, plug back in.
This should solve your noise problem.

Wont turn

The model number listed above is for a refrigerator. It sounds like your belt broke or the Idler assembly failed. Not very much in parts cost. You will have to take the dryer apart to fix the problem. It is a minor problem and usually worth repair.

When it rotates it gives metal banging sound what is the reason?

Hi,

Make sure dryer is level on the floor, and that nothing is leaning against the dryer.
Make sure nothing is loose inside the drum. Check all exposed screws, and make sure they are tight.

Check for foreign objects in the drum. (Coins, buttons and zippers will make a rattling sound as they roll around in the drum)

Good Luck and have a nice day
Rating the solution is highly appreciated

Loud bang during dryer rotation. front loaded dryer. dryer is six years old. bang is with evry rotation of drum.

not nkowing what brand, I would guess its a maytag or one of their brands. It sounds like a screw that mounts one of the paddles inside the drum has backed out and is now poking out the out side of the drum hitting the cabnet as it goes around. Un plug it , pop the top open , rotate the drum clock wise by hand slowly to see if a screw is standing up on drum.
If its a whirpool dryer with the lint filter inside the door, the top cabnet is dented down, hitting the drum.
someone sat on the top, bent it down.

Banging Noise in Kenmore Dryer

There are two rollers that hold the drum in place. I'm betting that one of those rollers have broken or fallen off. It's not a very easy fix since you'll have to take the dryer completely apart to fix it. Good luck!

Banging noise

You may have had a foreign object slip under a loose drum baffle. Manually rotate the drum to locate wwhich baffle it is in.
