Stopped working. changed batteries, still nothing. Logitech M510.

If you can, check your wireless mouse with another computer to determine if it is working or not. If it works on the other computer, remove any M510 drivers from your computer. Plug the wireless adapter back in, and see if you computer recognizes it and the port it is plugged into (control panel/system/devices). If the computer recognizes it and loads software, try your mouse again.

Return for a replacement. Bad mouse.

Try replacing the battery, even if it new sometimes the battery included is not good

Try using a can of compressed air to blow out any dust around the laser sensor window.

What does the device manager say about the hardware?
It could be loss of the usb device controller. Windows XP is old and that is an indication that the hardware is old too.

According to the Logitech web site there are no replacement parts available for the M510 mouse

Just download and run the Logitech Unifying Software from logitech support and it will work perfectly. Just did it myself.

My key board stopped working. I replaced the batteries and I have know use of it. It will do nothing.
