Sounds like the belt is going bad or something is jamming the drum up like a bad roller.

Whirlpool AWZ 410 washer dryer is not generating any hot air when drying. The dryer drum is tumbling but with cool air only.

Unplug the unit and take the top with the screws holding the lid on. Take a look at all of the wires on the top of the machine. You might notice broken/burnt wires on the safeties that are close to or that directly activate the heating element located in the blower housing located at the top of this washer/dryer condensing unit.

My drier model no awz 7303 does not heat up

I'd check both legs of power at the plug to make sure you have all power needed.(check voltage)
My next suspect would be the element. (check continuity)

My awz 7303 is not getting hot there is no power to the overheats or the heater element from the timer .is there anything other than a faulty timer that can cause this

First, check the outlet for 240 VAC. Try flipping the circuit breaker off, then on, a couple times, very deliberately. If you have the correct voltage at the outlet, check the connection from the cord to the dryer. If you have the correct voltage going to the dryer, you probably have either a timer problem, or one r more of the thermostats is open.

My whirlpool awz 7303 is very noisy. i think it is something to do with the drum going round. could the belt need tightening?

If your dryer is noisy, check these: Your dryers uses rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time. Idler pulley your dryer has a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it. Rear drum bearing assembly does not fail often in this type of dryer. There are videos of the testing and replacing of these parts at http://appliancehelponline.com/dryerrollervideo.html this will walk you thru the troubleshooting and replacement of these parts Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. This brings us to the last problem could be the blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time.To check this grab the wheel and see if theres any play . But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you need to replace it. If you need diagrams or illustrations of your specific model you can also enter your model # there. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

Whirlpool AWZ 7303 tumbling but not drying.

blower wheels will get loose in dryers. Sometimes they will get a whole lump of lint in them or you can hear a rattling noise in the dryer, this is the blower wheel, its worn out and it can cause the fuse to blow too,or it can half *** work and take fifty forever's to dry the clothes.Or it could be just that the dryer needs a good blowing out .I use a lawn blower to get all the lint out of the dryer as well as the vent pipe and vent to outside. I take the filter HOUSING out and wash it also. That is, I remove the housing and clean is good! Making sure that the dryer is properly flowing air is a good thing!

I cannot see how to remove the front panel to take out the condenser unit to clean it on my awz 7303

After some frustrating searching, I finally found the manual for this dryer on the www.whirlpool.co.uk website. The URL for this manual is:

http://www.whirlpool.co.uk/app.cnt/whr/en_GB/pageid/pgwpsrvifuhome001/DOCTYPE/IFU/DOCLANGUAGE/GB

One thing that the manual does not show (probably think it so evident that there was no need to mention) is how to open the vent panel at the front bottom of the dryer. Let me save you accidently breaking or cracking it to get it open. OPEN THE DRYER DOOR AND PUSH DOWN THE BLUE BUTTON YOU SEE ON THE LOWER RIM - this will POP the vent door open!! Simple, but not obvious to me!!
