A 3 blink error on this model is saying that your lamp cover is not on properly. Check your lamp cover and door. Make sure they are seated sucurly. If this doesn't fix your problem. Then the switch or little board buy the lamp cover is bad and needs replaced. This is called the T board.

Hi, If red light was not blinking before lamp replacement and after that it start blinking 3 times then pause for three seconds and again blink, check lamp cover that has not been fixed on tv or it is not fixed/ seated correctly there. Lamp cover is first thing that you removed from tv to replace lamp. Hope these info will help. Are you sure its two red lights blinking and not the one red light blinking and you can see it through the other window to look like two red lights? If so sounds like your lamp is blown. Open the back door and unscrew the lamp (2 phillips screws) and check to see if your lamp is blown.
