Question about Western Digital Caviar WD2500BB 250 GB Hard Drive
i have an external hard drive of SEAGATE 80 GB that is to be connected via USB . it is now corrupted may be because it was removed off directly and not by using saely remove option. now when connected it is seen in my computer but when i click on it it says that disc is not accesible as it is corrupt . iwant to recover it's data please help me Hi all,
Hope someone can help.
USB Western Digital 250gb Portable Hard Drive.
Bought a second hand laptop and coonected into the usb port. The pc came up with a power surge error and the hard drive made a repetative grinding noise. Removed the drive and put onto my usual pc . In my computer it recognises the drive but does not give the capacity. In properties shows the drive as being empty. When i try to open the drive, it shows that the drive is un accesible and corrupted.
Is there anything i can do??? Happy just to get the kids pics off it.
Download and install R-studio ntfs this run r-studio ntfs then locate drive in screen then scan drive It will take awhile to scan once scanned you may open the scanned drive let it search for all files to be recovered then just place a tick by the files or folders to be recovered then click recover then select destination folder then click the appropiat button and wait for allfiles or folders to be recovered.
