Enter the configuration utility inside the unit and run a signal survey. If the survey does not detect any access points, your radio section has gone bad. If it does detect the appropriate access point, examine the signal and noise numbers associated with the access point. For a reliable connection, there should be a difference of at least 18 between the two figures.

Can this tv model do a wireless connection to my laptop? I have a wireless router - WGR614 Netgear, and an HP Pavilion entertainment PC. Thank you, Diane

Your computer is built to acquire wireless signals made possible with routers as link stations. Also, the computer is capable of transmitimng signals with the same process to any device with conditions explained. First, TVs would acquire wireless signals with builtin wireless routers to recognise external media requirng intergration. Performing sigal transmittion compartibility checks should produce results of whether your computer is capable of communicating with the computer at a wireless level. Refering to the TV user guide ascertain the wireless capabilities with respect to computer to TV media communications. Every possible signal connectivity is acquirable with performing technical diagnostic checks to ascertain the missing links. For example, modern devices are capable of transmittions across mediums achievable at the users own experimentation.
Good luck

Cannot connect mouse with stick

Try changing the batteries. I used to have a wireless mouse on my PC and that was a common problem for me.

Make sure that there are no other devices that might interfere with the signal.

Is the mouse bluetooth ? You might have to re-pair the device with the laptop in order to get better connectivity.

On the mouse that I had, there was a "Connect" button that I would have to press to get a new signal from the transmitter.

Just to let you know, the transmitter is working with infared, it only goes up to about 20 feet when in-line before it starts losing its signal.

Dunno if I've helped any to you, but good luck with it anyways.

Just purchased SBHS100AE-K rear speakers to connect to my SC-BT100. I want to connect them wired rather than purchase the wireless transmitter, but I can't figure out how to connect the wired rear speakers...

This unit is not as flexible as traditional receivers are as far as speakers are concerned. Speakers are labeled and *must* be connected to the correct speaker terminals.

Upon reading the manual - it is quite apparent that the only provisions for rear surround speaker connections is only via the optional wireless transmitter / receiver hardware. The optional digital transmitter is connected via a proprietary plug on the rear of the SC-BT100. The optional receiver amplifies the received signal and passes it to the connected surround speakers. I would bet that there are no provisions for amplifying a surround L and R speaker channel inside the SC-BT100, and that it only provides a low level (like a "tape out") or un-amplified signal to the transmitter plug. Even if you were to manage to get the surround speaker connections made up there - you would not be able to hear anything from them - as there is no amplifier. The amplifier is contained in the wireless receiver, and is largely why it requires a connection to house current.

Unfortunately, I doubt you'll find a way to listen the surround channel audio from the SC-BT100 without the optional transmitter / receiver and the integrated amplifier.

You can review the manual like I did here:

I hope this answered your question.

My laptop won't read my wireless (but it used to) since i moved

This is sort of general but it just may help.
Make sure your batteries are in correctly.
Make sure the transmitter dongle is in the USB.
Look on the transmitter and the mouse and keyboard
itself (bottom) for a little tiny button that says connect
or reconnect. Move the mouse about six inches away from
the transmitter and press both the transmitter and the mouse.
That should reestablish the signal twixt the two.(or three KB)

Sennheiser Wireless Headphone Stops transmitting signal

I had the same problem when I plugged it into a new HDTV. The problem was that the sound on the TV was set too low. The transmitter has a feature that automatically turns off when the signal is off or too low. Try turning up the TV volume to a high/higher level and it should solve your problem. Using the headphone jack with the white input allows you to use the headphones while bypassing the TV speakers.

Instructions for a swr meter/cb radio

An SWR meter is used to see how well your antenna is matched to your transmitter output, just like using the correct speakers with an amplifier.

There are usually two readings. FORWARD and REFLECT
or FWD and REFL

Firstly, make sure the antenna selector is in the correct position and set for the antenna you are using.

Next, switch your meter to FWD (FORWARD). Switch your transmitter to low power and press the microphone key.

Next, adjust the CAL knob for the maximum power reading, but not so far that the meter exceeds maximum!

Keep the microphone key pressed and switch to REFL (REFLECT). If your antenna is matched, the meter should now give a low reading. If the reading is very high, you must match your antenna by making adjustments or by using a matching unit.

A poor match will mean a poor signal. A very poor match can damage your transmitter and cause interference.

When you have a good FORWARD reading and a low REFLECT reading, your system will be reasonably matched and you can then use higher power. Remember that you will need to reduce the CAL knob to a lower setting when running high power.
