Problem in logging into websites

Dear sir,
all of these just started all of a sudden. today morning when i logged in i found my comp to be unusually slow. next due to a power cut i had to initiate an emergency shut down down procedure. after ward on power resume i opened my machine only to find that all sorts of weird problems creeping up. initially it started showing error messages urging me either to report or else dont send the prob to microsoft. i complied but with no avail. the error flashed whenever i changed window screens. then afterwards i did a restart but that worsened the prob. presently, the comp is being restarted every now and then letting me into a fix. i am currently using a wireless connection to sorf net using my cell phone as the modem. any suggestions regarding my prob or any assistance or help shall be highly regarded. another prob is that no icon is responding to mouse click. i have to initiate every program thorough window task manager with the help of new task button. it also shows to install msoutlook correctly. how that can be done. pls help.

I would agree with the previous Solution. I don't think you have to reinstall the OS at this point. Try getting online with either this computer or better yet another machine and download a Virus removal tool. I reccomend McAfee Avert Stinger. :)

I can't stay Logged in when I close Chrome.

It seems that many users have been having this problem lately, and it seems that while it works well with Firefox and probably other Gecko-based browsers like Flock or Camino, people using Safari and maybe other WebKit-based browsers like Chrome can't stay signed in for more than a couple of minutes even if you've selected 'Remember Me' in the login page. Multiply staff is aware and working on it but so far there is no cure. I had this problem this week and it was driving me mad, but I found a workaround: Reset your browser: clear its cache and cookies (at least the ones from Multiply). Next time you sing in do not check the 'Remember Me' checkbox. It will let you stay logged in until you close your browser, logout manually or after a very long time (not sure about how long tho). While it's not a fix, it's better than having to sign in again every couple of minutes or becoming insane... If you have this problem, please report the issue in this thread started by the Multiply staff, giving them the info requested in the opening post (your browser, OS, etc):

I don't know what version of internet explorer I have on my computer. All of a sudden I'm getting an error message when I try to log into a program called Mylabsplus. It requires IE8. I have been...

You do not mention which operating system you are using.

If you have automatic updates activated and are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, then you may have been upgraded to IE9.

If you are using XP, then IE8 is the highest you can go with.

It is unusual for a program to only work with an older version of IE.

Try to restore your settings to a time before the settings changed, when your computer was working well:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > Restore my computer to an earlier time > select date and event on calendar and schedule for when pc was working well > restore > restart pc.

I hope this helps.

Installed voice over IP phone system today at work and now my winfax connects, sends page 1, but log status says "No acknowlegement received on last attempt" so it keeps retrying to send the fax. It worked...

Make sure your VoIP system has been adjusted for optimum fax transmission. VoIP doesn't do very well with fax, most providers much change the Codec to support fax (eg. t.38 )

I need my server to monitor the log in and log out of other users in the cpu's connected to the server

If your server has Windows Server 2003, then you can audit user logons via the event viewer. The Security section keeps an audit trail of when users log on and log off.
