Question about Microwave Ovens

I AM HAVING SHARP MICROWAVE 1200W CAROUSEL. IT DOES NOT HEAT!!!. I THINK THE HIGH VOLTAGE FUSE ( 5KV, 0.75A, TUV.TH.V060T )BLOWED. DOES THIS CAUSE THE MICROWAVE TO STOP HEATING?. WHERE CAN I BUY THIS PART?. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Mine is sharp 800W microwave oven with exactly same problem. The Hight voltage fuse (5kv, o.5A, tuv t.h.v060t) blowed. If I can’t find this fuse, can I just connect it without using fuse here? The reason I want to try is because I saw there is another fuse in the microwave. Is it safe to do so?

Exactly the same fuse blown in a Sharp Microwave Oven R-350J

TUV.T.H.V060T, 5KV 0.75A. Could this indicate a problem with another component like the transformer.

Sharp r410 microwave runs but wont heat

If it sounds like it normally does, then you probably have a failure of some component in the high voltage circuit, or whatever element controls it, or the thermal protector on the magnetron.

If troubleshooting this yourself, be aware that the high voltage capacitor can retain a charge of several thousand volts indefinitely. Very unpleasant to touch.

Microwave runs lights come on but it doesnt heat up any food

It shows that magnetron is not operating, check high voltage diode grounded from the high voltage capacitor by replacing the same with same specification,if problem remains then check connection leads connected with magnetron for loose or corrosion, finally check by replacing the magnetron.

It's not getting heat and LCD looks like there's water inside.

On most Sharp Carousel Microwaves, the display stops working after time. As for the not getting any heat, the magnetron or the high voltage transformer may not be working.

Sharp carousel II microwave/convection oven

The question is... Do you want to put money on a 18year MW, or put it towards a new one? I must admit I love the SHARP Combo MW Convection ovens. I own two. One is almost 25years old. The mechanical Timer Type, but they work great and I can maintain them with 30years ef exrerience. I am now retired.
It does sound like the Magnetronhas broken down, however it could be other things in the Secondary (High Voltage Side). The High Voltage Side is made up of the Secondary HV side of the High Voltage Transformer, A High Voltage Diode, a High Voltage Capacitor, and the Magnetron. The High Voltage Side is DANGEROUS, and CAUTION should be taken to protect yourself against EXTREME HIGH VOLTAGE. unplug from power and DISCHARGE High Voltage Capaciton to frame GROUND before touching anything!!!!
