Hi there, I have the Siemens Gigaset 4015 and for reason it stopped working. It was fine up to that, both the power supply and batteries are working fine. The battery symbol, the menu symbol and the automatic redial key are flashing continuously and I cannot get the dial tone. It's as if the handset cannot pair with the base station!! Do you have any ideas?

1st step check in supply units - 110/230V AC to 9.5V AC adapter for base station.dd
2nd step check in ringer volume (ring tone) if the rank is zero (0) ringer is off and afterward change to wish-able ringer volume 1-5.
I have exact same problem. Let me know if you find an answer.
No dial tone. I can call out and reach number (though no sound) so connections are there but just no sound.
For incoming calls, phone rings, pick it up, no sound.
Any solutions??
Hi, First of all you have to change the Dialing mode, DTMF or Pulse, according PABX type, ask to technicians! Second step is to set up the Flash Time from 80 to 800 ms, again in dependency of your PABX Operating Instructions. Cheers and good Luck.
You may have the wrong or defective power supply. Or, that problem is common from getting a power surge and the unit will probably have to be sent in for repair, sorry.
Unfortunately the 4010 model does not have a built in answering machine but does have features to work with your local telephone companies voice mail. If you want to keep your same phones and get a base with a built in answering machine you will need to replace your 4010 base with a 4015 base (up to three handsets), or a 4215 base (up to four handsets). But don't toss out your old base, you can use it to extend your range if you ever use a 4200 series handset that will allow you to register each handset to up to four seperate bases simultaneously to extend the range. You can buy the 4015 or 4215 base only and save yourself some money. You can google Siemens cordless repair or go to the Siemens website to find a few options.
