If the yellow area edges are sharp then the blue LCD is faulty and need to be replaced.
If the yellow area edges are not sharp and you get the multi color background in you image the your need service. due to dust on LCD panals the light is not pass on properly so you open the projector and clean the LCD block.
(cleaning of LCD block and other parts of the projector is a very technical job please very very carefully)
if it's an xr-32x (as it shows on this pic), it's a dlp projector, not an lcd. therefore no green filter. it has only a colorwheel and a dmd chip to affect the color. if it's not an xr-32x, and it's an lcd projector, replace the green filter. sharp sells the parts for the optical engine. but if it was your service tech that did it, have them replace it.
Hi ThereNot sure what you visually describe as "blurry" This could be two things - a typical white screen will waste all the definition and brighteness unless you sit in a dark room Our ICE Digital Daytime Screens will take any projector and make the image up to 2000% brighter with a resolution reseolving ability of 20 million pixels. So in this case the definition you are alluding to could be lack of contrast, image definition due to insufficient light from the projector relative to the lux level of the room. Alternatively the lamp could be getting old. The brightness of a lamp falls off rapidly so as you use it more and more the image will become duller and duller contributing to a "blurry" or image lacking in punch etc. The technical lamp hour spec life is only a manufacturers "up to xxx hours" and not what you will achieve in actual life. If you want we are able to supply lamps as we ship internationally and also the same with our ICE Digital Daytime projection screens.Sharp DT-100 Lamp cost is $US261 delivered. try one of the sharp tv codes. if you just want to use the remote to turn it on, this might work. if you want to use it for other functions of the projector, it won't. the remote is not set up for that.
