You may have to to internet options and clean out your Temporary internet files and cookies. You may want to reset the amount of space used on your hard drive for graphics to 128mb. This allows your computer to rid itself of useless graphics after you have closed your browser. That will be under settings of browser history. After you have cleaned things up you should Defrag your hard drive. If that works for you great...there are other things that may be causing the slowdown also, such as too many things running in the background....try these steps first and get back to me and I can walk you through stopping some of these unnecessary programs running in the background eating up ram.
