Question about Car Video Players

1 Answer

Audiovox D7200MB Dual 7" portable dvd player skips very easily while traveling. Letting it rest on pillows and 45-90 degree angles helps a little. Cleaning laser head with a cleaning disk does'nt help. Is there an alignment problem.....weak laser.....WHAT??? Is there a repair manual available? I have some electronic experience. THANX.

These aren't really made for offroad dvd watching. I dont think replaceing the lens would help at all. The dvd is very intence in data, theres alot of data there and skipping can happen easyly when bumps on road etc.

Audiovox dt85 no power

check your power DC wire, possible it has been damage, check the cigarette outlet to see if a fuse blew, if everything seems to be fine, it would be an internal issue

No, sorry...stop by a local car stereo shop and ask them for a solution...could be a cheap "gerry-rig" job under $50

Second screen or main screen? if it is second screen, the Deconder chip V-out is bad. You need change that chip or replace whole main PCB.
