Reinstall from cd if a purchased version. if downloaded redownload , if its a paid version. call them up and tell them what happened they should give you a new key to install with.

1- Install using this serial: SSDC-ONLN-AAAA-NNNL-NINC
Then
2- Go into the C:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper
Then
3- Right click the "install.dat" file-->go to Properties--> at the bottom check the boxes "read-only" and "hidden"-->then click Apply
And finally....
4- Run SpySweeperFix.v1.1.exe
Allow SpySweeperFix.v1.1.exe to run on the next Windows start up, this gives you the definition update till 2020, otherwise, you'll just get till 2006!
CLEAN INSTALL needed here. Try un-installing after the un-install, shut down completely for at least 30 seconds, and then restart. This releases any "Locked files" for deletion. Then do a search in 'all files and folders' - search for both Weebroot and then Spy Sweeper, with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found. You should do this search and delete whenever you un-install any programs. It will remove lots and lots of leftover junk files and corrupted files taking up room on your hard drive. It will also give you a "clean install" when you reinstall or install an updated program. (Do this ESPECIALLY when updating to a NEW anti-virus programs and “Internet Security Suite” programs such as McAfee or Norton etc.) BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Spy Sweeper
