Question about Computers & Internet
Hi, I have a home network with one computer connected to a Netgear router (WGR614v6) by wire and another computer connected wireless to this router. My son bought an Xbox with the microsoft wireless adapter so he could set up the console in his room but the xbox does not pick up any network at all. When we placed it downstairs and connected it to the netgear router by wire then it establishes connection. In the network setup on the Xbox the option for the wireless connection is grayed out and when we have tried the network adapter to establish connection it says that there is no network available! The light on the microsoft wireless adapter is always red.
Try moving the XBOX to the same floor as the router - .
