i have tried adjusting both the bluetooth volume and the cell phone volume. i have another bluetooth (samsung wep500) and it pairs perfectly so the cell phone volume doesn't seem to be the problem

i apologize for posting this under the wrong sub-category. (which may explain why I'm getting confusing answers) i am unable to adjust the volume on my motorola H9 bluetooth. i can hear some faint audio on the bluetooth, but cannot adjust it any louder. i have another bluetooth that works fine with my phone. (2 different bluetooth, same phone.) I need some troubleshoting tips (if any) on how to adjust the volume on the motorola H9 bluetooth. I have tried adjusting the volume control on the bluetooth, re-assigning the volumes keys on it and also adjusting the volume on my cell phone too. i'm just wondering if I am missing something as far as setting up the bluetooth since I've lost the user's manual and can't recall any other troubleshooting tips it may have had.

Remove the batteries. *Leave them out for a few hours.* That part is important. Also, should that fail or you may try this first, press and hold the on/off button to the on from off mode and hold the button down for 20 seconds. Use a clock count the seconds Reinsert them with new batteries and try again.

Sir,

My headset will not enter pairing mode.
Make sure that any devices previously paired with
the headset are turned off. If the indicator light is
not steadily lit in blue, turn off both the other
device and headset, wait 10 seconds, then turn
headset back on. Wait for the indicator light to
become steadily lit in blue, indicating the headset
is now in pairing mode.
My phone doesn't find my headset.
Make sure the indicator light on your headset is
on (lit in blue) and steady when your phone is
searching for devices (see step 3).
My headset worked before but now it's not
working.
Make sure your phone is on and the Bluetooth
feature is turned on in your phone (see step 2). If
the Bluetooth feature was turned off or was
turned on only temporarily, you may need to
restart the Bluetooth feature and pair
your phone and headset again

Step B - SET YOUR PHONE TO LOOK FOR
YOUR HEADSET
For most Motorola phones:
On your Motorola phone, press (Menu) >
Settings > Connection > Bluetooth Link >
Handsfree > Look for Devices.
The phone lists Bluetooth devices it finds.
Select Motorola H9.
Select OK or Yes to pair your headset with
your phone.
Enter the passkey: 0000
Select OK.
When your headset successfully pairs and
connects with your phone, the indicator light
changes from steadily lit to flashing blue.

You are useing a bluetooth headset? does the headset work perfectly on another phone?

Its either a problem with the headset or other problem in the phone. IF the headset works perfectly on another phone then the problem clearly is in your current phone.

I would suggest takeing it to a local phone shop or a service center if you know one to get it tested. guys at phone shops can most likely direct you to someone.

I can't test your phone over the internet so I have to direct you to someone..

When using bluetooth, the volume adjustment is affected by both the phone and the bluetooth ear piece. Try turning up the volume on both when using it.

Need to hard reset motorola mini bluetooth h9

try removing the pairing to your phone and pair again. If this does not work try pairing your headset to another phone and if it does it on that phone then something is wrong with the earpiece return for repairs if under warranty or if you are willing to pay for the repairs if out of warranty or replace ear piece all together as they are reasonably priced these days. If the ear piece works fine the other phone something has gone wrong with the bluetooth side of your phone return for repairs or replace depending on what you can afford to do. I hope this helps.

I have a bluedio h9 set i tried to connect it to my ps3 but nothing appears on the screen,

I have the same unit. It does work PS3 just fine, but the instructions included with the Bluedio H9 are vague and poorly written.

First fully charge it. Then hold the mulit-function button down for 5 seconds or so. It will turn on (light will flash blue)...then keep holding the button down another 5 seconds or so and the light will go solid blue. Now you are in "discovery mode" if you don't get it into discovery mode, your PS3 can't find it.

Go to the "Settings" tab on the PS3's cross-media bar and select the "Accessory Settings" menu. From the new menu, select "Scan for Bluetooth Device."

After you have added the Headset, you can control the Mic pick-up level (1 to 5) under Accessory Settings -> Audio Device.

Good Luck

Motorola S805 headset worked fine with T60 laptop

Solution I found with the same devices is to properly par the devices.

Refer http://direct.motorola.com/ens/s805/QuickstartGuide.pdf

It basically states :

1.Ensure the headphones are turned off (L indicator light not blinking).
2.Press and hold L button. After about 6 seconds, the L indicator light becomes steadily lit.
3.Release the L button. The L indicator light remains steadily lit.

If the L indicator light is flashing or not steadily lit, repeat steps 1 through 3

Now on the T60:

Search for Bluetooth Devices as you would normally.
The T60 lists Bluetooth devices it finds.
Select Motorola S805.
Select OK or Yes to pair your headphones
with your phone.
Enter the passkey: 0000
Select OK.
When your headphones successfully pair
with your phone, the L indicator light
changes from steadily lit to rapidly flashing.

That's it next time you start a audio program on T60 output will be sent to Motorola Headphones

Bluetooth NS-BTHDST won't turn on

1- Plug the charger into a power outlet and connect the headset
2- Press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time for resetting the device.

To Insignia: Please provide a line covering/linking this problem in Troubleshooting section of the manual, too. I found it in the Resetting section on page 22.

Motorola h710 bluetooth will connect to phone but no audio

I disabled the bluetooth from my phone. I then turned off my phone and rebooted it. Once the phone was turned back on, I paired it up with the bluetooth and then it worked. So disabling and removing everything and starting over worked.
