I have done that.  I have used different rca  inputs, and same verticle lines for the Wiii and the  DVD,  and Raku, but Raku set  up at different TV works find.  The picture for the HD TV is great.

are you saying interference from some other source ? If so why does the rest of the TV HD work so well ??  What should I do  ? I live in a pretty  big house and no neighbors are close by. IT must be something inside the TV ,  is it possible / or should I somehow reset the TV ? Will I screw  up the HD ??

Did you have any weird power fluctuations. Try hooking the Wii and Raku box through a different input

You may not have received proper signal ..........there may be lot of attenuation and other particle which reduces the signal strength

Using your cable remote or satellite tv remote as well as the one that came with the television itself. Press the hd zoom # button on the cable remote. Satellite tv remotes will have format or aspect. For satellite tv receivers you may have to go into the menu on the satellite tv box to adjust the picture format i.e. 1080i crop and etc.

Make sure you have the television on the right input for hd and that the cable box or satellite receiver is displaying 1080 i.

How do I get the HD on this model? Which cables/hook up should I use? I do not have a cable box or set top box but if these are required, please let me know. Thanks!

Your unit is HDTV ready but is not an HDTV. It is capable of displaying HDTV only through the component inputs. Your tuner is analog NTSC and will not receive HDTV or digital.

You could get an HDTV picture using a Blue Ray DVD and hooking up the component connectors from the DVD to the TV.

The only other way would be to get an HDTV tuner with a component output and hook it up the same way, component out to component in, and hook the tuner input to an off air antenna (receiving HDTV) or cable or satellite with HD signals.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Make it sure that you have a 1080 signal from your source(eg. HD receiver, bluray player etc.). Try pressing format button on the remote until you get full picture . Or try changing the format or aspect ration in your satellite or cable box.

I cant get high def 1080-i to work on my mitsubishi 55807

IYou have to have your comcast box tuned to a channel that is broadcast in HD. On your Comcast remote hit menu. This will bring up several icons, one is HD. Select that icon and it will bring up the TV Guide for just HD channels. Select one and tune to that channel. Once your on that channel use your original remote and hit menu, then advance features, then go down to video display and change it from 480 to 980 or 1080. Let me know if this helps.

HD Hookup on Dish Network 2nd Location

In order for you to receive HD broadcasting you must have a HD-TV, otherwise you wont get the picture in HD. Also I should point out that you need to make sure that the signal itself is being broadcast in HD.
