Nintendo ds lite l button doesnt work

Does it click when you press it or does it seem to be out of position? If so, that's an easy fit.To fix this you'd have to open up the DS and re position the button and the pin holding it in place.

If not that, its probably got something to do with the trigger inside the DS. When you press the shoulder buttons, they push into a button just below them on the motherboard, which sends a message to the DS. If that has fallen off or started malfunctioning in any way, it could definitely be causing this. You'd have to order one online (link provided to an example) NINTENDO DS LITE BUTTON SWITCH REPAIR PARTS 4 NEW and then solder it in after desoldering the other one, if you know how to do that.

If not, there are probably some repair guys with an ad on your local Craigslist who'd be happy to do it for you for a quick buck.

Right Bumper On my DS Lite is not Working or is Unresponsives

Many things can cause this problem in a Nintendo DS. I for one, had this problem with my own DS, and was able to fix it. This problem can be caused by something physically blocking the button from being pressed down, or the button that is attached to the motherboard is fried, broken, etc.

What you'll need to do, is find out what your serial number is, and go here and enter it.

If you do not have a warranty anymore, and Nintendo won't cover it, your only two options would be to open the case, and check if there is something lodged in, or around the hinge; the other option being that you send it in to a third party company that does DS Lite repairs.

Nintendo DS lite "L" "R" button dont work

OK the buttons are probably dirty. I had this same problem with my DS. Pry open the outside edges of the buttons until there is a gap. Blow into the gap while making sure you dont spit in the console. This should clear out the dirt and make your buttons work.

The same thing happend with my gameboy sp. all you have to do is take a screwdriver and unscrew the back. then all you have to do is clean out the gunk that is blocking the button from working.

DS Lite and Action Replay Issues

First of all, make sure your DS isn't connected to the computer at all, and try the fix again (the "A+B+SELECT+START" thing that you know), THEN plug in your computer (let go of the buttons at then menu screen, then plug it in). DON'T hit the quick update button on the code manager and select the empty code-list and delete everything in there again (The one on your DS). Select a game in your code-list on the bottom right (I chose Pokemon Diamond) and drag to the DS window (left).

Now try to add something to the code-list on your DS (the left window) And it should allow you to write to your DS. After the Reset, I had no problems re-adding games to my Action Replay after following the steps exactly. If you have your DS plugged in before you did the reset thing, that may be the problem. Make sure you do the software update (the top right button on the code manager on the computer) just to make sure you're up to date.
