Volume may be turned off or down or it is set on silent. go to settings, go to ring styles, select style and edit/add. scroll down to the ringer of choice and hit select. hopefully that will work. also try the volume on the side of phone. by pressing top left button, you can change ring styles that way.also controls volume.

Sim unlock network

You can get the sim network unlock pin for your Motorola Razr xt910 Black from the online unlocking site Unlock-Zone.com by selecting the country and network to which your phone is locked to. Get the unlocking service and provide the IMEI no., when it is asked. You will get the unlock code via mail. Follow the instructions provided accordingly.

The 3.5mm audio plug broke off on my Beyerdynamic headphones. I need to replace the plug. There are four conductors but I don't know what type of plug to buy (4-pin?) or what the pinout is.

Two of the wires are ground (-) and two are hot/signal (+). You'll need a stereo 3.5mm mini plug (try your local RS...they also call them 1/8" plugs). The stereo plug will be divided into three separate connections called Tip, Ring and Sleeve. The Tip is right channel signal, the Ring is left channel signal and the two grounds should be connected to the Sleeve or ground connection.

If you get one side of your headphones backward (out of phase, plus and minus backwards) you'll know by the sound quality and so reverse the wires of only one side to correct.

My home phone was working fine in the day time but now all the time when someone rings me it only rings once and so i need to know what the problem is and how to get the phone system working normally.

Perhaps you could contact your telephone service provider and ask them. I would think i's a Central Office issue or a user-selectable function.

How to change ring tone? Model #RC8233R Carlton wireless door chime

Mary, there is a small button on the face of the face of the pusher. With the unit plugged in, push that little button and it will play the next available ring tone. When you find one that you want to use, simply stop and that one will be what you hear when someone comes to the door.

We have a fidelity solid state record player. Its been in the loft for 30 years and whilst it works, the speed settings are not good. Any help welcomed. we can't get into the case to clean it - can...

lift the turntable off ,under the rubber mat on the spindle is a circlip, remove the circlip and the turntable lifts up ,their you will see a rubber drive wheel and a spindle with different sizes on the shaft the rubber wheel moves up or down on the shaft against this spindle so you get the different speeds ,i do think you will just have to renew the rubber drive wheel ,or in many cases it was a plastic wheel with a rubber "O" ring .this has perished with age and you might be able to either still buy a new one or just change the "O" ring ,depends on model and type. These were very good machines in their time with solid state transistors ,i know because i bought one ,and paid it off at a pound a week .Many moons ago

My foam ripped

Hi simba

If it is the foam surrounds on you speakers you are referring to, then that can be replaced by most decent HiFi repair guys. Cost you differing amounts for different size speakers, starting about $30 for a 6". You may have to ring around in your area to get someone that does this sort of work. Go first to a HiFi specialist store. Good Luck, and thanks for using fixya
