Question about Heating & Cooling
The blower on the furnace is really noisy but no air is coming out of the vents.
Sounds like the motor shaft and/or blower wheel have broke. The best scenario is that the blower wheel has only become loose. Shut the unit off. If you are comfortable using tools then use your manual to show you how to remove the blower assembly. When it is out you will need to check the Allen screw that holds the wheel to the motor shaft. If you are lucky you can just align the screw with the flat side of the shaft and re tighten! If you have the unit out, it should be pretty obvious if there is any other physical damage. Make sure you can spin the unit freely without any other complications before re installing it. Good Luck!
