Delete. game data . run disc

Check internet connection, and try downloading it to the HD

For Mozilla firefox Browser : Click Tools ( Alt + t ) > Clear Recent History (Ctrl+Shift+Del) >> Change time range to clear TO everything >>> Check list all the checkbox >>>> Clear now.

For Internet Explorer : Click Tools > Delete Browsing history >> Delete All

Delete all of your black ops updates from your hard drive, and re-download them. I had this issue about a month ago. Beware not to delete your profile or you will have to start the game from the beginning.

try having the game replaced from the store.Maybe it's a game issue.Check for the patches as well.

i got the same problem only with my ps3 it froze while i was playing black ops online so i turned off the power n after i restarted my ps3 he could not read any game discs anymore, im now busy with reformatting my ps3 i dont know about the xbox but maybe u also have the abbility to reformat ur system if so do it but put ur saved files on a usb stick or on somthing els cus u will loose everything but ur system gets a clean start and it checks for system errors wich come by shutting off the power wile it was not ment to and fixes them

When i play black ops it freezes when i try to go online. it works perfectly when i play off line

I've read that deleting the files for the game and/or signing out of PSN helps (I haven't tried either, but I can't get past the title screen and cutscenes without my PS3 freezing)

Try factory reset.
