I have nokia 6600 when try to send 2-4 sms. only 1st is going remaining shows 'operation time out' or 'already in use'.. happens repeatedly in 2-3 weeks operator unable to do anything. what is the solution????? pl give

go to the nearest nokia care and tell them to install a new software in ur handset

Try to format your phone manually by typing this code *#7370# if security code prompted just type the default securitycode or your personalized security code and wait until the phone completely rebooted.Also try to scan your mmc if it has a virus.

What you need to do is to format your phone,cause normally at first 6600 does not do that except it has contacted a virus.you need to format it.

Follow this proceess.....

First switch off your phone,

Power on from the power pointing,

Ones it powers on immediately it displays nokia on your screen.press down your * bottom,number 3, and your send bottom.

Hold down those bottom down until it shows a black screen moving from the left.

.NB.Don't remove your hands until the black screen finishes.after then you phone will work better. try it its fun.

you can format your phone mannually by pressing Call Button + * + 3 then press power button for about 5 to 10sec.wait until your phone completely formatted.if fails to format then repeat the procedure

by pressing Calling key and 3 and * and switch it on ur battery must be charged it will show formatting for 5 minutes and it is done. dont remember to vote my solution as fixya

try to clear all the data in your lifeblog. emtying all the lifeblog entries will release all your the phone memories. If nothing happen try to format your phone by pressing the green (send) button, the number 3 and the star sign simultaneously and then press the power button. Hope this will help.

It is necessary to format your phone, because system files regarding your phone boot sector seems got corrupted. There is not enough room in your RAM it leads to your phone at this status. Take important data backup, remove MMC and enter the press four keys i.e. 3.*,green send key and power on key together for sometime and hold it for sometime. Your phone screen will indicate "FORMATING". Your phone will get formatted, then switch off and on it again as usual . Remember to scan your MMC with a good anti virus before inserting it back in phone. During formating don't remove battery and do this process only with enough charged battery. You will be able to send your message then. Do vote this solution....

selct the memory to memory card (ie message memory) u are saying 15 mb is free in memory card but what about the phone memory.. got to message > options >settings>other settings> then select memory in use select phone meory and try to resend message again

Clean the Dome sheet of UI MOdule or replace the same.Stillnot solved pls replace the UI Filters.
