Question about Motorola Mobility H500 Wireless Headset

Bluetooth module not attached

My bluetooth was paired with my raZr and working fine and then one day when I tried to use it, it wasn't paired up with my phone anymore. I tried going into the bluetooth link to go through the setup process again but it says "bluetooth module not attached" and it won't let me go any further to the setup menu to reconnect it. How do I reconnect it if it won't let me?

I had my h500 connected to my sony ericsson. since then I have changed phones and my new phone will not pick up the ear piece. How can I fix it?

I had the same problem. On Aug 3rd, 08, my bluetooth was connected to my phone I was going up the mountain and the bluetooth disconnected itself. I didn't try to reconnect since I wasn't driving, but the next morning when I tried to connect I got the same message "bluetooth module not attached" on my phone . I was able to fix it by simply taking out the battery and then just putting it back in place. When I turned the phone on the bluetooth was reconnected. I've tuned the bluetooth off and on a few times just to make sure it was working properly and is. Hope this helps. (jawbone bluetooth)

I have a H500 that can be found and added to "My Devices" but after finding it, my phone will not connect.....It tries but then says connection failed....again this is AFTER I search and add device. It finds the H500 but after adding it will not connect. I tried the same H500 with another phone and it finds the device as well but will not connect. Anyone have any ideas?

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select H500 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Help pairing my H12 bluetooth

I successfully paired my bluetooth by going into the connection phase, just using my common sense on what to do next once I turned the bluetooth on. Since it was not paired to anything, it automatically went into pairing mode. Thanks anyway!

Delete it from your Razr, turn off the bluetooth and recharge it to full. Try pairing it again. Make sure you enter the passkey correctly. Check the manual for the bluetooth if you dont know what it is. It is usually 0000.

Connecting JABRA BLUETOOTH to MY SIDEKICK 3

Use your Bluetooth wireless headset or car speaker to make and receive calls: 1. Follow the manufacture's instructions for your Bluetooth device to make sure it is turned on and "visible". 2. From your Sidekick, go to the Phone application. 3. Make sure your Bluetooth device has paired with your Sidekick device by pressing MENU and selecting Settings > Pairing. (If you try to do this and you don't have Bluetooth services turned on, you will be prompted to turn it on.) 4. On the Pairing dialog that appears, make sure your Bluetooth device is listed and has a key icon next to it. The key means that it's paired with your device. If it doesn't have a key, roll the TRACKBALL to select the device name, then press to pair. Once paired, press DONE . 5. Back at the Phone screen, press MENU and select Transfer Sound to > Bluetooth Device Name. 6. Dial your number and send the call. All sounds will be routed through your Bluetooth device.
