My DVD player is not working in the car, but will work when plugged into the home outlets. I tried buying another car adptr but it still gets no power to it. What should I do?

Is your DC module on your DVD has same voltage with car adaptor ? and pay attention with both DC connectors, the plus sign (+) and the minus sign ( - )
