I HAVE A Life Drive

i HAVE A Life Drive for the last 4 years. I had problem hotsync. First thing I though, the cratel-wire was giving me problems, because this particular Palm, when you take de wire out, I fell like is goint to break.
I order a new Palm Desktop Hotsync Cable (item 3170WWZ order # 8716454893-001) The problem is that problem is not resolved. When I push on Hotsync in the computer, nothing light up, do not give chance to change setings.
Please, this Palm is the most important element in my job. I'm a 61 years old person, so, I'm not the best with computers.
