I have a Sony Digital Voice recorder ICD-P28. I have Window XP. I have the original Sony Software ver 2.25. My recorder links with my program and I can see and hear the recorded messages. When I try to save these messages, the program freezes. I have unloaded and reloaded the program. I have updated the program via the Sony support site.

Aside from the fact that it is a Handheld Recorder, is there a provision for plugging any remote controls to it?
Any mention of it in the User Manual?
I mean, there is a place to plug in a microphone, and there is a place to plug in an earphone.

Even if you could not buy it, a foot pedal is the easiest thing to make. The problem is, where are you going to plug it in?
