How do I forward the slides of a powerpoint presentation using the remote?

Make sure that you connect a cable (usually the USB cable is supplied with the projector ) from the computer to the projector. Once communication is established, normal PPT slide advancing is done by pressing the up/down arrow keys (depending on the remote control layout)

Cannot get the remote to move the slides on the screen

Problem is not clear. Are you trying to use remote of the projector to move the slides? And slides from what? A PowerPoint presentation?
If you are using a computer, use the computer to change what is shown. You cannot use the remote of the projector for that.
Provide more information to help you better.

Our remote went missing so I'm trying to use the other remote that came with the projector. This remote is model number RM-PJ2. Should I be able to click and move forward with the slides on Power...

Make sure the USB cable is run from the projector to the computer. You might also want to open device manager (right click my computer>properties>hardware>device manager) and make sure the projector does not have a yellow triangle with an ! on it. You can also try unhooking the USB cord, deleting the projector from device manager, then hooking the USB cord in again to reinstall the drivers. It should all be stock drivers, so you shouldn't need to download anything extra. Also be sure that the batteries in the remote are good and working. Sometimes you can point an infrared remote at a digital camera and see the light on it (I've never gotten it to work though) to verify that it's working.

How do i make the picture to fit the screen on XR10X

You may have tried using the zoom ring located at the lens there are two rings one for focus and zoom. If this is not working you will need to either move the projector physically forward or backward from the screen until you can use the zoom accordingly.

Epson projector from computer & powerpoint

You need a wireless presentation remote that has a transmitter that plugs in to the back of the computer. This can be used to advance the slides. Make sure you get one that states the distance you need.

Let me know if that helps.

How to Use remote to forward slides of PP presentation

Hi Carolyn

You'll see that the Projector came with a USB cable. The USB cable should be connected from your PC to your Projector and this will enable you to flick through your slides with the normal BenQ remote control.

Thanks for using Fixya !

My remote does all features except changing screens

Hi there

You did'nt mention the make or model of your Projector.

But on most makes and models you need a USB cable going from your PC to the Projector to make use of the scrolling button from your remote.

Auto adjust

The sensors within this unit must not be able to detect the screen outline. You may have to manually adjust it in the settings menu.
