Charged phone last night ok then today noticed screen went blank (not totally off power) just seemed to fade. Came on properly and was able to use when I made a call. Now has gone off totally and when I try to power on, backlight comes on momentarily then...nothing!! Have had handset about a year. Can anyone help me urgently thanks, Rosie

I solved the problem for my L6. IT appears that somehow the phone is software dependent. Meaning that you need to have the Motorola Software for the phone installed in your computer, connect the phone and voila! At least it solved my problem. All of a sudden it charged automatically and I can now charge with the power adapters too. (Yes I too went and bought a different charger, then when it didn;t worked I got a different battery..etc.) just give it a try. I think you can get it for free online somehow, just google it.
this problem has probably occured due to the phone being knocked. i used to have a motorola l7 slvr and it did exactly the same, i found that if you hit the back of the phone fairly hard the screen would come back on. im not sure if it is the same for the razr but hey its worth a try. ti be honest i think motorola are terrible mobile phone manufacturers but great 2way radio manufacturers
it wont harm your phone they just recomend 24 hours to make sure the bat is ok and that it gets fully charged but remember to let your bat go totally flat from time to time this will prolong the life of your battery as it does them no good just keep topping it up so i sugest to let it go totally flat say once a month this will keep your battery lasting longer between charge hope this helps
