They do not make that part anymore but you can get the display ( part no. A2BD00000113 ) without the board it will take some knowlede (soldering skills) to take the display apart & put the new part together .

Try this. Try shorting across this fuse protector IP1280 (looks like a resistor) on the power board. See more detailed solution I posted in this forum for a similar question.VEPV0037A display board - 4a63623.jpg

Do you think you can get a substitute for this board? Are you a BARBER? Might be. Otherwise, you might not place this problem before us. Barber means; one who "do Shave the face and other; places of women". Did you got ME? Frome where you have been trained? Who the hell; man/women without knowing his/her father did taught you electronics? Do you have any idea about ypur origin? Sorry. Might not.
Heee; asking about the substitute board for Philips.
Strange indeed!!!!!

The display is reading LOCKED. We cannot open the disc changer or operate it at all. We assume it is a child lock but have no idea what to do to fix it. It is a Panasonic Home Theater System SA-HT928.

unplug to reset device, wait at least a full min. plug back up, if still locked, go to parental controls and unlock from there or other place in tv menu. have a good day and please rate bama46, thanks

Rt2280 no power up, no display, standby light works

Might be the relay on the power board that stands up just behind the big transformer. I has a complete no power also, I shorted out the relay legs on the black one, it started to work again. I will probably replace it, since the problem started by the system shutting off randomly.

The display on the front of the dvd player is not working

I finally got some time to run this one down. I first took the "easy" solution and just ordered a new display and replaced it. No luck.

I traced the problem to the grid voltage going to the fluorescent display, it is a vacuum tube and requires grid heater voltage. The circuit goes through a switching transistor on the display board (board not available) through the DVD board (circuit wiring only) through a diode and fuse protector on the power board (also not available) to a transformer. The fuse protector was open, but the transformer was not putting out the right voltage. I replaced the transformer and jumpered the fuse protector and that solved the problem. I will need to put something in there for circuit protection as it may be a current limiting fuse protector but the part was not even in the parts.com parts list.

Cause: Temperature and/or voltage surge caused transformer and fuse protector to fail. Transformer rang OK, only display voltage affected.
My Solution: Replace transformer T1150 and Fuse Protector IP1280.

Possible cause of others who replaced the display board: Voltage surge may have taken out switching transistor Q7001 on display board. This transistor is turned on by QR7201 & QR7201 in a Darlington pair when PowerSave goes low. I did not under stand this function since the display is never completely off. It may dim it but I don't recall the display dimming. It may be non function on this model so jumpering E-C on Q7001 might solve the problem for others.

Parts replaced:
T1150 Transformer G4D2A0000216
IP1280 Fuse Protector K5G252AA0003
